Pike TaeKwonDo Club
For Pike Township Students 3rd - 12th Grade
What is the Pike TKD Club? IMAA proudly provides instruction in TaeKwonDo for one hour a week and we teach the basics in order to inspire kids to pursue TaeKwonDo further. Through this program, we have had some very successful students transition over to IMAA full time.
We have two sessions a year: Sept - Dec (ending just before Christmas break) and Feb - May (ending just before school is out for the summer). The fee of $125 is for each semester and include a dobok (uniform) with the student's first semester and a helmet with the student's 2nd semester. At the end of the session, during the final class, we have a promotion test. There is no fee for the promotion test.
Originally led by Instructor Risa Flight and Instructor Brian Decker. Since Brian's passing, 1st Dan ranked Instructor Delaney Winter has stepped up to co-instruct this program as well as Instructor Flight's 2nd Dan ranked daughter, Madeline.
Pike Taekwondo club is a Pike Youth League sport and can be found on the MSD Pike Township website. It is offered only to Pike township students in 3rd - 12th grade.
